An avid outdoorswoman, Michelle Whitney Bodenheimer loves the Pacific Northwest she calls home!
Michelle
currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and young son.
When not at work as a certified paralegal, Michelle is often found
enjoying the great outdoors. Michelle landed her first trout at the age
of two, and has had a rod and reel in hand ever since. In the late
1990’s, Michelle’s husband introduced her to the world of hunting, which
has quickly become her favorite past time. Michelle has successfully
hunted and fished throughout North America and Africa. She routinely
shares her love for hunting with others as a volunteer
hunting guide
and instructor for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Outdoor
Skills workshops, and the Becoming and Outdoors Woman program.
Michelle is an active member of several wildlife and conservation
groups,
including: Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Sables, National Wild Turkey
Federation, Trout Unlimited, Women in the Outdoors, and is a board
member of the Safari Club International Southwest Washington chapter.
